Happy October! Wow, I can’t believe it’s already October.  Birthday month was a complete whirlwind and I’m so sad it’s over.  BUT, Rob and I have a weekend getaway planned this month and I’m getting VERY excited.  It’s been over a year since we went away, just the two of us.  And in case you missed it last week, we are heading to the Inn at Honey Run – a cozy and remote getaway in the heartland of Ohio.  Fingers crossed that it’s peak fall foliage time because it looks like there are some amazing views!! 

And without further ado, here are this week’s Solty Friday’s. 

> One of the items we are currently shopping for is a new kitchen table.  Right now we have a pub style high top, but Lilly is growing out of her highchair and we need a shorter, four top.  I saved some styles I love on my Pinterest page.  Check them out here: style 1, style 2, style 3. 

> Last weekend we watched Enola Holmes on Netflix and it was excellent! It was exactly the type of movie we needed – smart, witty, charming, delightful.  It was such a feel good movie.  We definitely recommend it!

> If you have been following along for awhile, you will know all the house projects we completed this summer.  One of the projects was repainting the family room.  It went from a blueish-gray to white.  I swapped out the rug already, but this week I bought these curtains to replace our dark navy blue ones.  Next up is new artwork and I can’t wait to share what I picked!!  

> Monday is going to be a big day in the Solt house! We are getting Rob’s childhood piano (Rob is an excellent musician and is a master of the piano and saxophone).  This will require lots of rearranging of our living room.  AND, our striped chaise lounge chair that I ordered back in August is arriving in two weeks!! AHHHH.  

> We have plans to go apple picking next week! I also have a fun collaboration happening next week, so stay tuned for some fun on my Instagram page. 

There is so much going on in our lives, as I’m sure you can tell.  Enjoy this first weekend in October!
