What an incredibly hectic week. I can’t even pinpoint why it’s been so busy, but we’ve just been non stop all week. I’ve barely had time to check in on my favorite social channels (ha! But for real). Needless to say we are looking forward to a weekend with no plans!
I’ll get straight to the point on this last Friday in September (where the heck did this month go BTW?!). Below are this week’s Solty Fridays!
> Earlier this year I partnered with Sternlines, a New England based brand that creates sustainable and environmentally friendly products, and wrote two blog posts for them about our family adventures! You can read the spring blog post here and the summer blog post here (just published last week!). Follow along on their Instagram for my fall blog post!
> This week I brought The 9-5 Edit Style Series back! I started this earlier in 2020 as a way to showcase work outfits, but I put it on hold with COVID. I styled the ever popular J.Crew Sidewalk Skirt this month! You can read the blog post here.
> In March, Rob and I were supposed to head out of town for a weekend. That weekend happened to be the weekend Ohio was ordered to stay home. So we moved the trip to August, but I wasn’t quite ready to travel so we rescheduled to October. And I think I’m finally ready to go away for a weekend! We are heading to the Inn at Honey Run – a cozy and remote getaway in the heartland of Ohio. Fingers crossed that it’s peak fall foliage time because it looks like there are some amazing views!!
> We totally have been sucked into the show on CBS called Love Island! HA! Anyone else??! I’m totally team Justine and Caleb, but I’d be equally happy with Cely and Johnny. Also, Calvin is totally underrated and gives me all the JFK vibes. We’ve also been watching The Challenger on Netflix and it’s equally riveting. Definitely a must watch.
> I shared in my stories earlier this week some new clothes for L! There was some interest in the raincoat and boots, so you can shop the boots here and the coat here!
> My friend Sarah recommended a mystery novel based in Scotland a few weeks ago and of course I had to buy the book she recommended! I started it this week and it’s already so.good. Look up Women of the Dunes on Amazon – it’s perfectly Scottish in all the good ways.
That’s all I have for this week! Like I said, it’s been a busy, busy week!
Happy weekend! Slainte!
