Below are this week’s edition of Solty Friday’s.
> Mackenzie Horan from Design Darling is one of my favorite bloggers. I’ve been following her for years and her style is always so good. She recently bought a house and has been fixing it up. This week she revealed her mudroom and laundry room and both are beautiful! If I had all the funds in the world I would want my house to look exactly like hers. I love her classic, blue and white vibe.
> L’s birthday is next Saturday! Ahhh!! We aren’t having any large parties this year, but I still want it to be special. I decided on a “Two Wild” theme – think big palm leaves, bright pink flowers, elephants, gorillas – basically the rainforest. I found a bunch of items at Target for this theme and I’m so excited. I saw this theme on Pinterest and this cake has been my inspiration.
> I recently finished my Scotland inspired book that was recommended by my friend Sarah and now I’m reading a book recommended by Rob. It’s called Circe. If you like Greek Mythology and witchcraft, then you’ll love this book.
> I have some exciting collaborations coming up for the holidays and one is with Jaye’s Studio. I’ll be sharing more about this in the coming weeks!
> A lot of you loved my navy quilted pullover that I wore on our weekend getaway so I’m linking it here! It’s one of my favorite pieces from Erie and Anchor. You can shop it by clicking here.
> In case you missed my blog post from earlier this week, you can find it here! I’m chatting about our weekend away to the Inn at Honey Run.
> I feel like I’m always shopping the J.Crew Factory site. Right now I’m totally into this headband, this pink Sherpa pullover, the cotton wool teddie sweater, this corduroy mini skirt, and the herringbone city coat.
And that’s it for this week.
Slainte,
Shannon
